Exclusive: Orange Cassidy Not Bothered By Jim Cornette’s Criticism

Orange Cassidy In AEW

Orange Cassidy has his fair share of critics, but there may be no bigger critic of his work than Jim Cornette

The current AEW International Champion exclusively spoke with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes and was asked if he was bothered by Jim Cornette not liking how he handles himself in the wrestling ring. The freshly-squeezed fighter squelched any notion of nerves when it came to what Cornette thinks of him

“No. I am what I am, this is what I do, this is what I have been doing. If you don’t like it then you don’t like it, I don’t care. I’m not going to stop because this person doesn’t like it. Who cares? I’m not wrestling for you. I’m going to do what I do, so the answer to that question is no.”

Orange Cassidy Has Proven A Lot Of Doubters Wrong

Jim Cornette inaffectionately calls Orange Cassidy “Pockets” for obvious reasons, but Cassidy continues to march to the beat of his own drum, and it’s been getting over with the AEW fanbase. With his AEW International gold, he currently stands at 29-consecutive successful title defenses and the casual, yet competitive nature of Cassidy has connected with the crowd on the big stage.

While Cassidy may not have the approval of Jim Cornette, he does have the approval of WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash who he called “My boy” on his Kliq This podcast.

Cassidy’s biggest critic, Jim Cornette, has recently commented on CM Punk signing with WWE.
