Dax Harwood Praises Bret Hart As “One Of The Greatest Human Beings”

Bret Hart embraces FTR backstage Dax Harwood Cash Wheeler

Dax Harwood has a growing influence in professional wrestling, with AEW fans enjoying the rise of Dax and tag team partner Cash Wheeler, during a dominating 2022. Whilst many are jumping to support the former ROH tag champions, Dax himself has been opening-up about the influence of those before him.

Being part of FTR, the current AAA & IWGP tag team champions, Harwood certainly knows a thing or two about tag team wrestling. But 2022 has also seen Harwood delve into some high-profile singles matches, following in the footsteps of Bret Hart, who he feels is one of the greatest of all-time.

During an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Harwood spoke highly of the groundwork Bret Hart laid and how much he gave to wrestling, both in and out of the ring.

Bret Hart Is Allowed Whatever Opinion He Has, According To Popular AEW Star

Harwood explained that Hart has more than earned the right to whatever opinion he holds out modern wrestling.

“I’ll say this. Bret, he’s passionate and he has a reason to feel the way he feels. He is Bret Hart and he has given so much to this business. He has earned every bit of it and he’s allowed to have whatever opinion he has,”

Harwood went on to highlight how much the 2006 and 2019 WWE Hall of Fame double inductee has done for him personally.

“Bret, I talked to him yesterday, overall he is a very positive person. He is one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met before. I get a lot of flack online when I talk about him, but at one time it was the fan in me, but now it’s the human being in me, how much I love him and respect him, how much he’s done for me, dude.”

Bret Hart is viewed as the greatest of all time by many fans and wrestlers for his singles career in WWE and WCW, known as ‘the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be’. The Hitman gained his second Hall of Fame ring for his time in WWE as part of the tag team The Hart Foundation, with Jim ‘Anvil’ Neidhart.
