After two years away from the ring, Tyler Breeze has captured gold in his return to action.

Breeze last competed on the June 15th, 2021 edition of NXT. The match saw him and his Breezango tag partner Fandango get a victory over Imperium‘s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.

His last singles match with the company came on the March 31st edition of the brand where he was defeated by Santos Escobar.

He had not been seen on the main roster since a Tag Team Battle Royale on the 2019 Survivor Series kick-off show which was won by Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode.

Now, he has returned to action at Next Generation Wrestling’s Wrestle Wars event in Knoxville, Tennessee. There, the star defeated Matt Cross to become the NGW: TN Champion.

The victory marks the first time Breeze has been a singles champion in over a decade, with his last time being a brief reign as FCW’s Florida Heavyweight Champion in February 2012.

Tyler Breeze still paid by WWE

While Prince Pretty hasn’t appeared for WWE in over two years, he is reportedly still being paid by the company.

According to Fightful Select, his current contractual duties are tied to Xavier Woods’ video gaming channel, UpUpDownDown, but there’s no word as to if his deal limits any kind of outside work Breeze can do in the ring.

However, according to one WWE source for Fightful, it does prevent him from appearing on AEW programming.
