Kurt Angle Believes Logan Paul Could Be WWE World Champion Someday

Kurt Angle

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle believes Logan Paul could become a WWE world champion in the future.

In a recent interview with True Geordie, Angle gave his thoughts on the newly crowned United States and admitted he was skeptical of Paul’s intentions. However, he was quickly impressed by his athleticism and even compared his growth in wrestling to himself and Brock Lesnar.

Angle went on to say that he believes if Paul gains more experience in the business, he believe he’ll become a world champion in WWE someday.

“He’s another kid that has really, at first, I was like, ‘He’s a YouTuber, he’s just trying to get the fame.’ But he was producing. He’s winning fights. Then he goes to the WWE, and he shows his athleticism. It’s like, woah, this kid has it. Why did this kid start out with YouTube? Why didn’t this kid be a pro boxer when he was younger or a pro wrestler? This kid has the ability to be those, all those, all the above. Watching him, I’m literally impressed by his skills. I’m really happy for him.

He just won the US Title. I think that’s a great accomplishment, for only wrestling your eighth match. I will tell you this. I won the Intercontinental Title wrestling my ninth match. So I know the feeling. But he’s on that level with me and Brock, he really is. I think if he continues on and he has more experience, because he’s not quite experienced enough yet, I think if he gets more experience, he’s gonna be really, really good, and I think he’ll end up being world champion.”

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch Is Officially One Of The Worst Jeopardy Contestants Ever

Becky Lynch makes her entrance

It’s official: Becky Lynch is one of the worst Jeopardy contestants in history following her appearance on the show last night.

The Man appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy in support of The V Foundation, which partners with WWE through Connor’s Cure, against fellow celebrities Macaulay Culkin and Rachel Dratch.

Unfortunately, Lynch wasn’t nearly successful at the game show as she is inside the squared circle. She spent almost the entire show with a negative score but managed to claw it back to win $1,000 by getting the Final Jeopardy question correct.

Additionally, it was pointed out on X by The Jeopardy Fan that Lynch made history by becoming the first person ever to give zero correct answers to all 60 questions – making her one of the worst contestants in Jeopardy’s long history.

GUNTHER Claims He's Outgrown The Intercontinental Title

Gunther Fires Back At Bret Hart Following Previous Comments: "Too Bad We Can't Settle It In The Ring"

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has claimed he has outgrown his current championship and is ready to move on from the belt.

In a new interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo, GUNTHER refuted the idea that he could headline either night of WrestleMania 40. He went on to praise Seth Rollins’ ongoing run as World Heavyweight Champion and claimed the event’s two main events should be for the world championships.

He continued by sharing his belief that the Intercontinental title is the secondary title to the world championship and claimed that it’s “obvious” he has outgrown his current title.

“But I think there’s a ranking system and everything for a reason. I think it’s quite obvious that I outgrew the Intercontinental Championship already, I am ready to make that next step.”

Logan Paul is the first talent to be confirmed for a major international WWE Premium Live Event!

Across social media last night, WWE announced that United States Champion and social media star Logan Paul will appear at WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia next February. He is the first talent to be officially confirmed for the event.

Paul hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since winning the United States title from Rey Mysterio at WWE Crown Jewel earlier this month. However, he has since tried to pawn off the belt and revealed what WWE has explicitly banned him from doing with it!

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho Suffered Burn During AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho Suffers Strange Injury On AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho has revealed he recently suffered a burn on AEW Dynamite!

During last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Jericho teamed up with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Paul Wight to take on Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Kyle Fletcher in a ‘Like A Dragon Gaiden Street Fight’.

The unique stipulation was part of a sponsorship deal with SEGA to promote the video game Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which was released last week.

The match saw plenty of references to the wider Like A Dragon series including Takeshita basing his attire on series mainstay Goro Majima, Kota Ibushi using a bicycle as a weapon, and various Like A Dragon props surrounding the ring.

But for Chris Jericho, the most dangerous moment of the night occurred before the match even began. The former AEW World Champion was the first of his team to make their entrance and stayed on the entrance ramp whilst Omega and Ibushi posed with their own pyro.

In a post to X following the show, Jericho revealed that the pyro from Omega and Ibushi’s entrance caused him to burn his arm.
