Lexi Cabrera better known as Alexa Bliss was born on August 9, 1991, in Columbus, Ohio. She is an actor, and professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. Bliss is one of the most decorated performers in the company as the first person to hold both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships and the first two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion thus making her the second Women’s Triple Crown Champion.

Before her WWE career, Alexa Bliss was very successful in the world of bodybuilding and fitness modelling. She went on to win multiple trophies and awards during her time as a bodybuilder and competed at the Arnold Classic in 2013 as an IFBB bikini pro.

In 2013, she applied for a WWE try-out via the website and was signed to a developmental contract after an impressive showing. Before she debuted on television she appeared at WrestleMania XXX during Triple H’s entrance. Alongside Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks, she accompanied The Game, helping remove The Game’s chest piece and cape prior to his match with Daniel Bryan.

In NXT, Alexa Bliss debuted as a glitter-throwing tutu-wearing cheerleader-esque babyface. During her time on the brand, she was only ever used as an enhancement talent until she turned heel and found success as the manager of Blake and Murphy leading them to the tag team championships.

It wasn’t until her surprise call-up to the main roster during the 2016 WWE draft that she truly blossomed. She debuted on SmackDown in July and made an immediate impact by defeating Becky Lynch. A few short months later she beat her again but this time for her first SmackDown Women’s Championship in a Tables Match at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

In 2017, Bliss defeated Lynch once again for the title becoming the first two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion in the process. A few months later Bliss debuted on Monday Night Raw during the “Superstar Shakeup”. Within two weeks she captured the Raw Women’s Championship from Bayley becoming the first-ever wrestler to win the titles on both brands. Bliss then entered a feud with Banks during which they exchanged the title. Upon becoming a two-time Raw women’s champion, Bliss continued to make history by successfully retaining in the inaugural women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Bliss then became the first woman to cash in the Money in the Bank contract the same night as winning it. In 2018, Bliss became the second performer to be crowned Ms Money in the Bank. On the very same night, she cashed it in to become a three-time RAW Women’s Champion. Earlier in the night, Bliss defeated Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Lana, Naomi and Natalya to capture the coveted briefcase.

During the RAW Women’s Title match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey, Bliss seized the opportunity to reclaim the gold she had lost at WrestleMania 34. Rousey seemingly had the match won and was about synch in her signature armbar finisher when Bliss struck her with the briefcase. After battering both Jax and Rousey in the object Bliss then ordered the referee to cash it. She hit Twisted Bliss on Jax to win the RAW title for the third time.

Later that year Bliss suffered a concussion that kept her out of action for nearly five months. However, she remained a part of the show. She launched her own interview segment – A Moment of Bliss, before hosting WrestleMania 35.

In 2019, Alexa Bliss returned to the ring in June and began teaming with Nikki Cross. The duo entered the new women’s tag team division and soon defeated the IIconics to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Entering a feud with Asuka and Kairi Sane the two teams exchanged the titles thus making Bliss the first-ever two-time women’s tag team champion.

The following year Bliss explored the darker aspects of her character when she slowly began affiliating herself he Fiend Bray Wyatt. Over a period of months, she went from a coffee-loving chat show host to a wild-haired follower. She started using his Sister Abigail as a finishing move after falling into a trance. The transformation continued as her link to the Fiend grew and she began appearing in the Firefly Funhouse.

Bliss became involved in the Fiend’s feud with Randy Orton, which involved fireballs, fire and apparent murder when the Viper burned the Fiend alive at TLC. With the Fiend out of the picture, the entire act fell on the shoulders of Bliss. She created Alexa’s Playground – a creepy children’s playground which amped up the supernatural elements of her character.

Her relationship with the Fiend came to an end at WrestleMania 37. During his match with Orton, Bliss emerged out of a giant jack-in-a-box with black ooze pouring from a crown upon her head. It made for one impressive visual and kicked off the latest evolution of her fractured identity. The move saw Bliss go out on her own and take to angle further down the rabbit hole and fully exploit her paranormal abilities. Dolls with souls, possession and hypnosis followed.

Bliss took her haunted doll Lilly and began tormenting Shayna Baszler, Eva Marie and Doudrop in various matches. She then challenged Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules. After losing the match Flair tore Lilly into shreds resulting in Bliss taking some time off WWE television.

She returned in 2022 and captured the 24/7 Championship before entering a team with Asuka. The duo then won the women’s tag team titles becoming the first three-time champs in the process. Alongside Asuka, she joined forces with Bianca Belair in her fight against Damage CTRL. The trio lost a six-woman match at Clash At The Castle before getting revenge at the first-ever women’s WarGames match on the main roster.

The return of Bray Wyatt toward the end of the year saw Alexa Bliss begin to show flashes of her former dark traits. Her evil side fully surfaced during a match with Bianca Belair when Wyatt’s symbol appeared resulting in her going into a frenzy and attacking her former friend.
