Bray Wyatt Passes Away Aged Just 36, The Wrestling World Pays Tribute.

Matt Hardy has paid tribute to his former tag team partner, the late Bray Wyatt, following his tragic passing earlier today.

Wyatt and Hardy would team in the WWE as the Deleters of Worlds back in 2018 with the pair successfully capturing the Raw Tag Team Championships at the Greatest Royal Rumble PPV in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The pair would hold the titles for three months before losing the belts to The B-Team – consisting of Curtis Axel and Wyatt’s real life brother Bo Dalls.

Taking to Twitter, Hardy would write:

“Absolutely shattered to learn that my friend, Windham Rotunda, has passed away. It’s devastating to think he left us at only 36 years young. My condolences go out to his family, wife & children. I’m so sorry, my compeer. Miss you already.”

Titus O’Neil has taken to social media to pay tribute to his friend and long time colleague the late Bray Wyatt following his tragic passing earlier today.

Taking to social media O’Neil would send his deepest condolences to Wyatt’s family as well as recalling what an incredible professional, teammate and father he was.

Taking to Twitter, O’Neil would write:

“Heartbroken is an understatement to my feelings at the moment about this news. Windham was the consummate professional, the Ultimate Teammate and a Wonderful Father, Husband, Brother, Friend and son.

Big E has taken to social media to pay tribute to his fallen brother, the late, great Bray Wyatt.

Big E would thank Bray for his positive impact on his career and life, recalling Wyatt’s laugh and boyish charm as well as being grateful for Wyatt taking him under his wing when he first arrived in FCW back in 2009.

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt.

Deville would recalls Wyatt’s incredible heart and kindness behind the scenes in WWE, commenting on his unwavering support for his fellow WWE Superstars and willingness to help at any opportunity.

Women’s wrestling legend Victoria (aka Lisa Marie Varon) has joined in the tributes to Bray Wyatt following the WWE Superstar’s tragic passing earlier today.

Victoria would take to Twitter to pay tribute to Wyatt and share some lovely heart-warming photos of the pair together during a fan signing in recent years.

Wyatt has been a part of the WWE family since signing with FCW back in 2009, since then he has boasted an illustrious career spanning three decades and winning the WWE Championship, the WWE Universal Championship and both the Raw & SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Alexa Bliss has paid tribute to her friend, partner and former rival Bray Wyatt following his tragic passing earlier today.

Bliss would team with Wyatt for well over a year as part of Windham’s divisive but undeniably creative Fiend persona in the WWE.

Bliss would support and then torment Wyatt before ultimately betraying him and leading to his demise at WrestleMania 37 in an inferno match.

Johnson and Wyatt would share a brief in-ring encounter at the record setting WrestleMania 32.

Former NXT General Manager William Regal has taken to social media to pay tribute to the late Bray Wyatt following his tragic passing earlier today.

Taking to Twitter, Regal would write:

“Devastated to hear of the passing of Windham Rotunda, Bray Wyatt. My deepest condolences to Mike, Bo, Barry and all his family. Rest well my friend.x”

Wyatt would learn from Regal during the pairs time together in WWE’s development brand FCW with Wyatt coming through along the likes of Jon Moxley, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Eric Bischoff has reacted to the heart-breaking news that WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has passed away aged just 36.

Taking to Twitter, Bischoff would pay tribute to the former WWE Champion sending his thoughts and prayers to the family Rotunda has devastatingly left behind.

On August 24th 2023 Triple H broke the tragic news that WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt had shockingly passed away aged just 36.

The news has left fans and superstars a like in a state of shock as such a young and promising performer is taken from us so suddenly.

It had been recently reported that Bray Wyatt was out of action due to a recent fight with a life threatening illness however it also noted that Wyatt appeared to be on the up following the battle.

Taking to Twitter, Triple H would sadly announce that WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda had contacted him with the devastating news.

“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”
