Dax Harwood Says He’ll Retire In The Next 5 Years

AEW star and current AAA, ROH, and IWGP Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood reckons he’ll be hanging up his boots within the next five years.

Dax Harwood has had an incredible 2022 by anyone’s standards. Harwood has shone in several high-profile singles matches, tangling with the very best in the wrestling business as he took on the likes of CM Punk, Will Ospreay, and Adam Cole.

But the meat and potatoes of Dax Harwood’s career is his partnership with Cash Wheeler as FTR. The duo continued to dominate tag team wrestling in 2022, accumulating the AAA, Ring of Honor, and IWGP Tag Team Championships. If star ratings float your boat, FTR has had two five-star matches in 2022, both coming against ROH stalwarts The Briscoes and Supercard of Honor XV and Death Before Dishonor.

Taking to social media, Dax Harwood answered a fan who asked if he had a retirement date in mind, with Harwood narrowing things down as he replied:

“I will retire within the next 3-5 years.”

While wrestlers are notorious for not retiring when they say they will if Harwood sticks to his plan then wrestling fans better make the most of him and FTR before one of the top guys is out.
