Dustin Rhodes – “Time Comes For All Of Us”

Dustin Rhodes

AEW star Dustin Rhodes may have life beyond the wrestling ring on his mind as he says he’s giving serious consideration to “the next step.”

Dustin Rhodes is nothing short of a modern-day phenomenon. The star began his wrestling career back in back in the late eighties competing in the likes of All Japan and WWE before making his name as part of WCW where he was nicknamed ‘The Natural.’

Rhodes took his natural ability to WWE once again in 1995 where he donned a platinum blonde wig and face paint for the first time as Goldust. An Intercontinental Title reign came for The Bizarre One and Rhodes remained with the company for four years before returning to WCW until the company folded.

Another run in WWE soon followed for Dustin Rhodes and this time he found unlikely success as part of a popular tag team with Booker T. Over the years Rhodes maintained an on-again/off-again relationship with the company and in his last WWE run – so far – he captured the WWE Tag Team Championship twice with his brother Cody Rhodes before moving on to join The American Nightmare in AEW in 2019.

Dustin Rhodes helped launch AEW with a bang at the company’s first pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing in 2019 when he and his brother competed against one another in a five-star classic. Rhodes has also challenged for the TNT, AEW Tag Team, and ROH World Championships during his time in the company.

Taking to social media, Rhodes has indicated that he may be looking towards the future and says at 53, his age has caught up to him:

“Man, old age has caught up to me guys. As much as I push myself beyond my limits, I can honestly say, I am doing some heavy thinking about the next step. We all think we can go forever with new batteries, but TIME comes for all of us. Kinda scared tbh. #KeepSteppin”
