Two Major Stars Out Of AEW Blood And Guts

AEW Blood n Guts

The July 5th edition of AEW Dynamite saw a lot go down in the ring but an announcement about the upcoming Blood and Guts revealed two huge names will not be taking part.

It was recently announced that the third-ever Blood and Guts match will be taking place in Boston, Massachusetts on July 19th between the two warring factions The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club.

The two groups have been involved in a violent and bloody feud for months and will look to put an end to the animosity inside the steel-cage-surrounded-double-ring but they will each have to do so with partners yet to be announced.

Bryan Danielson And Eddie Kingston Will Miss AEW Blood And Guts

The leader of the BCC, Bryan Danielson is unable to compete after suffering a broken arm in his match against Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door meaning his team will need another member.

The Elite will also need a partner as Eddie Kingston is participating in NJPW’s G1 Climax. This means that two mystery members will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The show also saw Ruby Soho beat Britt Baker to advance to the Semi-Finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament. Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin defeated Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland in the first round of the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarter-Final Match. MJF and Adam Cole continued their strained friendship when they bested Matt Menard and The Butcher.

Out of the ring, Don Callis tried to entice Chris Jericho into joining his new, faction – The Don Callis Family, and in the main event, Kenny Omega defeated Wheeler Yuta. After the match, the Elite and BCC got into a brawl adding further heat to their already boiling-hot rivalry.
