Tiffany Stratton Believes NXT’s Women’s Division “Doesn’t Need” WWE Main Roster Talent

Tiffany Stratton as the NXT Women's Champion

Over the past several months members of WWE’s main roster have made their way back to NXT and current Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton believes the brand doesn’t need it, especially the women’s division.

Stars like Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali, Dana Brooke and The Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterion and Rhea Ripley and have all recently invaded NXT. When asked about this influx of main roster talent by Scott Fishman on TV Insider, Stratton stated that while it is beneficial for the young stars, she feels it isn’t required.

I definitely feel like it’s not needed. I feel like NXT should just be for the girls in NXT and the NXT division. But it does help a lot to have someone like Rhea Ripley come down, Dana Brooke, Nattie Neidhart to help the NXT girls and guide them through things and help establish them better. I do think it’s a big help though.

Stratton captured the women’s title at Battleground, which is an amazing feat considering she only entered the world of sports entertainment in 2021. After making her debut she quickly established herself as one to watch in the 2.0-era of the brand. Now, as champion, she is very proud of her peers and believes the NXT women’s division rivals, if not beats those on Raw and SmackDown.

I think we have a really good women’s division at NXT. I think it’s one of the better ones compared to Raw and SmackDown. At NXT I feel we have such a spotlight for the women. I definitely feel on Raw and SmackDown it’s not as much of the spotlight for the women. We have a lot of young talent. Thea Hail, for instance, is only 19 years old. Roxanne Perez, who is basically 21. Cora Jade, 22. I definitely think there is a lot of future within the NXT women’s division. I can definitely see a lot of the girls taking over within the next three or four years on Raw and SmackDown.

NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton Made Her First Appearance On WWE SmackDown

Stratton recently made her first appearance on the main roster during the July 21st episode of Friday Night SmackDown. While attending the show she got to watch Charlotte Flair, someone she credits as her wrestling inspiration and who has helped her behind the scenes.

In a recent interview, former two-time Women’s World Champion Natalya has spoken about how she would be interested in recruiting Tiffany Stratton to an “all-female faction.”
