John Cena Shared This Funny Story During A 20177 Appearance On The Tonight Show

Appearing alongside Saturday Night Live veteran Kate McKinnon on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon back in 2017, John Cena set the clock back to 1994 and detailed a Time when his then-girlfriend, accidentally hit him with her car as he was riding his bike.

Perfect recalling the details of the incident during a game of “True Confessions,” John Cena says he was just entering college, riding around on his maroon 10-speed bicycle when the unnamed girlfriend struck him with her vehicle.

Asked why he chose to ride a bicycle, Cena said it was because as a young man, he fancied himself to be “physically fit.”

“There’s enough horsepower in this body to bicycle around West Newbury,” John proudly declared.

When Kate McKinnon asked if she cried when she realized what she’d done, John revealed that she did not and as a result, the relationship ended abruptly. In the end, it was uncovered to be a true story as John glowingly giggled about nearly dying.

You’re both right! It’s real! I almost died! I almost died!
