WWE has confirmed that the WarGames stipulation will be returning to the Survivor Series Premium Live Event this year.

During tonight’s WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, a commercial for WWE Survivor Series aired and confirmed a report last month that the WarGames stipulation will be returning to the WWE event after its debut on the main roster last year.

The commercial featured various clips from past WarGames matches on both the main roster and NXT, though it did not indicate what WarGames matchups will be featured at this year’s Survivor Series.

WWE revived the WarGames stipulation for use in NXT back in 2017, leading to the brand’s annual NXT TakeOver: WarGames events. The stipulation remained with the brand for four years until it moved to the WWE main roster with Survivor Series 2023.

Last year, The Bloodline came out on top of the Men’s WarGames match over The Brawling Brutes, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre whilst Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and Becky Lynch defeated Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley in the Women’s match.

A report last month indicated it was being “heavily implied” that The Judgment Day will take part in a WarGames match at this year’s Survivor Series.

In the latest update, the WarGames participants were announced on the November 6th episode of WWE Raw.
