Good Brothers Have No “Sour Grapes” About WWE Run

The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, have opened up about their feelings towards WWE after their 2020 release.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the current IMPACT Tag Team Champions discussed how they dealt with their own confidence issues. Anderson said:

“I hate to admit this, but I think there was a point in WWE where we had a loss of confidence. But I can promise you that the confidence is back. We needed to get out of that environment to remind ourselves who we really are and what we can be. Right now, we’re on top of our game. It feels that way to us, and hopefully, it shows.”

Gallows then added:

“We don’t have any sour grapes about WWE. We’re focused on right now. We’re the Impact Wrestling tag-team champions, Hard to Kill is going to be a banger of a pay-per-view, we’re in the middle of ‘Wrestle Week’ on AXS TV, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some more fallout from us and Kenny Omega on Dynamite.”

The Good Brothers made a shocking appearance in AEW on New Year’s Smash Night 1. They helped AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in assaulting Jon Moxley before being joined by The Young Bucks. This ‘Bullet Club’ reunion provoked a strong reaction from members of the ‘official’ Bullet Club in NJPW.

On New Year’s Smash Night 2, The Good Brothers made their in-ring debut. Teaming with Omega, the trio defeated the team of Danny Limelight and the Varsity Blondes. The Good Brothers and Omega will now team again at Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill event. The team will face Impact World Champion Rich Swann and The Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.
