Rumour Killer On Potential Identity Of AEW Devil

Rumour Killer On Potential Identity Of AEW Devil

It has been reported that a major suspect in the case of AEW’s Devil is not involved in the storyline.

The tension escalated during the December 13th episode of Dynamite when MJF accused Hangman Adam Page of being the Devil. Page vehemently denied the accusation, retaliating by suggesting that MJF himself was the one masquerading as the nefarious entity.

The climax of the show unfolded in the parking lot, where Page was ambushed by the Devil’s masked henchmen, with the Devil himself present. The attack culminated in Page being ruthlessly slammed onto a car windshield, mirroring a past incident that further fuelled speculation about the Devil’s true identity.

One popular theory suggests that Jack Perry could be the enigmatic Devil. Perry’s history of utilising glass in his involvement in All In, which led to CM Punk’s departure from the company, has drawn attention to him. Additionally, his recent suspension from AEW, reportedly ending over a month ago, aligns with the Devil’s reign of terror.

However, a high-level source close to the situation has refuted claims of Perry’s involvement. Speaking to Fightful Select, the source stated that they do not believe Perry is connected to the ongoing storyline. While plans can change, it has been previously reported that the Devil’s henchmen are portrayed by members of the AEW roster who will eventually be unmasked, adding another layer of intrigue to the mystery.

When Will Hangman Adam Page Return To AEW?

The aftermath of the vicious attack has left Adam Page sidelined from television appearances, emphasising the severity of the assault. A return date for Page to AEW is yet to be determined.
