WWE Creates New Trademark For Member Of The Bloodline

Roman Reigns in the ring with The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown

WWE has filed for an interesting new trademark.

Roman Reigns made an appearance on the December 15th edition of SmackDown to celebrate surpassing 1200 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. While there, Reigns named Solo Sikoa as the man who would succeed him as The Tribal Chief, much to the chagrin of Jimmy Uso, who thought he was the heir apparent.

Now, it appears that Sikoa will have a new nickname to mark his elevated position in The Bloodline, as WWE has filed to trademark ‘Tribal Heir.’

As per Fightful, the full description can be found below:

“Mark For: TRIBAL HEIR trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Challengers Line Up For Roman Reigns At WWE Royal Rumble [Spoiler]

Following the broadcast of the December 15th episode of SmackDown, the December 22nd edition was recorded. During the taping, AJ Styles staked his claim for a title shot against Roman Reigns, only to be interrupted by LA Knight and Randy Orton, who are also in line to challenge The Head of the Table.
