Everything is still to play for as the last round of the AEW Continental Classic Approaches.

The December 16th episode of Collision saw more Blue League action in the Continental Classic. In the first bout, Claudio Castagnoli handed Andrade El Idolo his first loss of the tournament, keeping himself in contention with six points.

However, Andrade is still at the top of the league with nine points, and he has been joined by Bryan Danielson, who defeated Brody King on the same show. Eddie Kingston kept himself in the running with a victory over Daniel Garcia to get up to six points.

Next week sees the last of the league matches with Andrade taking on Kingston, Castagnoli facing his Blackpool Combat Club teammate Danielson, and King facing Garcia. The winners of these matches will determine who goes on to the league final on the December 27th edition of Dynamite.

Meanwhile, in the Gold League, Jon Moxley continued his winning streak on the December 13th edition of Dynamite with a win over Swerve Strickland to move up to 12 points and stay at the top of the league. Strickland still has a shot as he remains on nine points.

On the same show, Rush defeated Jay Lethal to move up to six points. As Lethal is winless and Rush has too few points to catch Moxley, neither man will be able to advance in the league. Another star who can’t advance is Mark Briscoe, who fell to Jay White to remain on zero points, while White is now up to nine.

The Gold League finalists will be decided on December 20th as Moxley faces White and Strickland goes against Rush. The bottom of the league will be determined in a match between Briscoe and Lethal.
