Details on how WWE backstage figures have reacted to Liv Morgan being arrested have come to light.

Last night, it emerged that Liv Morgan had been arrested this past Thursday following a traffic stop. Morgan was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and, after posting bail at $3,000, was later released.

Now, Fightful Select has reported how those behind the scenes at WWE have reacted to her arrest or rather, the lack thereof. WWE sources reportedly told the outlet that there is, in fact, “absolutely no heat” on Morgan following her arrest.

A WWE staff member is quoted as noting that as she was honest about the situation and it did not affect creative plans as she has been off TV for several months, those backstage have no issues with her personally regarding the arrest.

The outlet also obtained a quote from an unnamed top star in the company who stated that Liv is well-liked backstage and that opinion has not changed. They went on to say that there will likely be jokes made about the incident backstage and that the entire situation will be forgotten about soon enough.

Morgan has been absent from WWE programming since the July 17th edition of Raw where she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the Women’s Tag Team Championship to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. Morgan suffered a shoulder injury shortly after and has been out of action ever since.

Liv Morgan Was Arrested On Three Drugs Charges

Liv Morgan’s arrest stemmed from a traffic stop when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy spotted her yellow Jeep crossing over the yellow and white roadway lines several times.

The WWE star was found in possession of a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and a “vape pen containing an oil-like substance” that later tested positive for marijuana. She was charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug equipment.

Commenting on the arrest, one WWE Hall of Famer believes that the whole thing is “a joke.”
